Police are investigating after 27-year-old Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka reappeared at Vosloorus police station almost a month after he was reported missing on 2 April 2026. During a briefing at the station, Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni said Kubheka alleges he was blindfolded, moved between unknown locations and held upstairs in a building before managing to return.
