Botswana In Malawi

As part of my State Visit, I was honoured to join the people of Malawi for their 61st Independence Celebrations, a vibrant occasion marked by pride, unity, and cultural richness.

In the spirit of friendship, Botswana and Malawi also held a friendly football match, with The Zebras emerging victorious. Beyond the result, it was a celebration of sport as a bridge between our nations.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to His Excellency President Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera and the people of Malawi for their warm hospitality. We conclude our visit with optimism for deeper solidarity and continued progress in our bilateral relations.
