Israel's relentless bombardment of Gaza has left much of the territory's cultural heritage in ruins. Museums, archaeological sites and centuries-old landmarks have been damaged or destroyed. But amid the destruction, archaeologists and young volunteers are working to salvage what remains piece by piece - preserving a heritage that spans thousands of years. Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
