More than 360,000 evacuated as wildfires rage across France and Spain

More than 360,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and holiday spots as wildfires rage across France and Spain. In France's southwestern Gironde region, 55,000 people were evacuated overnight on Sunday, with some 250,000 people evacuated from the region so far. Around 42,000 hectares of land in Gironde alone have already burned in one of the largest wildfires France has endured since the Second World War. The flames are advancing towards the famous wine-growing port city of Bordeaux.
