Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Fallen Heroes Commemoration Day and laying wreaths in their remembrance. Their sacrifice, courage, dedication and service for the nation will forever be etched in our hearts and history.

As Kwame Nkrumah once said, “Those who have sacrificed for freedom will forever be remembered.” Their legacy lives on.
