Gaza doctor Hussam Abu Safia appears before Israeli court after more than 530 days in detention

A Palestinian doctor has appeared before Israel's Supreme Court after more than 530 days in detention. Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, was arrested by Israeli forces in December 2024 during a raid on the medical facility.
