Ukraine has launched one of its largest drone attacks on Russia since the war began. Russia's defence ministry says more than 550 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight. Multiple locations were hit in and around Moscow. At least three people were killed as drones hit residential areas. Drones have hit residential buildings and industrial facilities. Israel has launched a new wave of air strikes on Lebanon, despite agreeing to extend a US-brokered ceasefire by 45 days. At least one person has been killed. Israeli war planes targeted the western Bekaa district, and several towns in the south. The Israeli military says its striking sites linked to Hezbollah. Friday marks 78 years since the Nakba—the forced exile of Palestinians from their land in 1948. For Palestinians in Gaza, it's an ongoing turmoil, with 72,000 people killed and more than two million others displaced by Israel's war since 2023. Ashraf Shannon reports.
The World Health Organization says Israel's war on Gaza has left nearly 42,000 people with life-changing injuries. Most remain trapped inside the enclave, but some have been medically evacuated. Ahed Bseiso was able to leave Gaza in 2023 after an Israeli attack led to the amputation of her leg. She is now in Belgium, where she still needs further surgery.
